After being found wandering in traffic and put in an institution, he meets psychologist Nicole Trager (MacIntyre), who brings him home, much to the chagrin of her two children Lori (Matson) and Josh (Bilodeau). The series follows the story of Kyle (Matt Dallas), a mysterious teenage savant who is missing instinctive human behavior such as anger, joy and love, and the family who found him.
